EEOC Updates and Trends
Speaker: Jamie Williamson, EEOC

Jamie R. Williamson is a nationally recognized civil rights leader, executive trainer, and leadership consultant with more than 35 years of cross-sector experience in human resources, organizational leadership, and FH & EEO compliance.

She currently serves as District Director of the Philadelphia Office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), where she leads enforcement of federal workplace discrimination laws and partners with organizations to strengthen accountability, culture, compliance and leadership effectiveness.

Previously, she was appointed by Governor Deval Patrick as Chairwoman of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), the Commonwealth’s chief civil rights agency. In that role, she led major organizational reforms, modernized operations, and oversaw enforcement, education and adjudication of statewide employment, public accommodations and housing discrimination laws. 

Ms. Williamson brings deep private-sector HR expertise, having held senior roles with NCR, Merrill Lynch Mortgage, and Glendale Federal Bank. She has also served as a consultant to companies including Big Y, General Electric, Crane & Co., Martin Marrietta, Berkshire Bank, and Berkshire Health Systems on leadership development, compliance, and navigating complex workplace challenges.

An accomplished educator and certified mediator and executive coach, she has taught and lectured on leadership, law, and organizational behavior at multiple institutions, including Smith College and Western New England College School of Law.

A graduate of Smith College, Ms. Williamson, has received numerous awards for leadership and public service.

Speaker: Susan Richeson, OVR

Susan Richeson is the District Administrator for the York District Office of The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR).  She has an undergraduate degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the George Washinton University. After a short career in private rehabilitation for an insurance company, she joined OVR as a Rehabilitation Counselor. She has spent the last 33 years in various roles at OVR and has been the District Administrator for the past 13 years.
