The York SHRM has developed an awards program to recognize excellence in the human resources profession. Nominations are currently being accepted for the four awards for various HR professionals: Emerging HR Leader of the Year, HR Professional of the Year, HR Partner of the Year and HR Community Professional of the Year.

Go to https://yorkshrm.org/hr-professional-year-awards/ to nominate an HR Professional by March 13th.

The following awards will be presented at the April 10th York SHRM Meeting.

  • Emerging HR Leader of the Year
    • The Emerging HR Leader of the Year is a professional that is either new to field or making a significant contribution to field in which the HR community is benefiting from their current position. This individual is also York SHRM member
  • HR Professional of the Year
    • The HR Professional of the Year is a professional that excels in the arena of HR. This individual is a community advocate and York SHRM member with certification (HRCI/SHRM) highly encouraged.
  • HR Partner of the Year
    • The HR Partner of the Year is a professional that is engaged in a consultant or non-HR supporting HR position or role. This individual is making a difference in the community with some connection to the HR field and is a York SHRM member.
  • HR Community Professional of the Year
    • The HR Community Professional of the Year is a professional that is a HR practitioner, advancing the profession and making a difference in the community by serving on boards, etc. This individual may or may not be a York SHRM member.
