Speakers:

Dr. McKenzie Walker is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Comprehensive and Neuropsychological evaluations and Court Appointments as a Guardian Ad Litem in contentious custody disputes. She is the owner of the Behavioral Health and Wellness Academy, a multi-clinician private practice with locations in Hershey, Lancaster and Lebanon. Dr. Walker is also a part of the True Edge Performance Solutions team, a premier Executive Coaching firm based out of Lancaster and serving clients across the country. Dr. Walker serves as a Consulting Psychologist with True Edge where her focus is on supporting and challenging a broad array of executives, management and employees in meeting their full career potential and supporting businesses, primarily family businesses, in parceling out the often-difficult details and nuances of growing a family business into a business run by family. Dr. Walker is specifically sought out for broad issues of conflict resolution and unearthing “bottom-line” needs that may be obstacles to problem-solving and creating change. Dr. Walker has presented to a number of audiences on numerous topics related to integrated care and methods of motivational interviewing.

 

Bobbi Billman is a former High School Social Studies teacher turned HR Director which a deep passion for wellness.  That passion for wellness started back in her early college days when she first discovered yoga and all the amazing benefits it provides to the mind, body, and soul.  And through years of practicing yoga both at home and in local studios, she came to really appreciate all that yoga has to offer us in this crazy, hectic world in which we live.  Yoga became a gateway to other wellness practices and studies for Bobbi and over the years she has become certified in a variety of other areas – she is a 200 hour ERYT and 500 hour RYT certified yoga teacher specializing in Gentle Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, Restorative yoga, and Chair yoga, a 100 hour certified meditation teacher, a Level 3 certified Gendai Reiki practitioner, a certified Nutrition coach, and a certified Life coach.  Using her background and experience in yoga, meditation, nutrition, Reiki, and coaching, Bobbi is able to bring a whole host of wellness tools to her employees, students, and clients in an effort to help them make better choices one small step at a time.

Samm Smeltzer is an HR Visionary and Medical Qigong Healer. In November 2021, she earned her Masters certification in Medical Qigong with Ted O’Brien at the East Coast Institute of Medical Qigong. As an HR Visionary, her decade-long pursuit of the missing elements for employee engagement within organizations led her down this path of merging Spirituality, Eastern Medicine and workplace wellness to create the potential for deep healing within our workplace cultures.

Samm is the founder of The HRart Center, a center devoted to corporate wellness and growth. As a Medical Qigong Therapist, Samm’s clients come from a range of different backgrounds, though she specializes in healing stress and burnout for professionals as well as coaching them back to their Connected Path. The HRart Center’s ultimate mission is to train HR professionals to become HR healers so they can heal their own workplaces. This is the workplace revolution we need.

She is currently pursuing her doctoral certificate in Medical Qigong at the 3 Treasures School of Medical Qigong studying under Lisa VanOstrand.

Betsy Stein-Hoffmaster, MSW serves as an EAP Coordinator. She holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Pittsburgh, a master’s degree in Social Work from Temple University and a post-baccalaureate certification in Elementary Education from Millersville University. Betsy’s experience includes working at WellSpan Behavioral Health for thirteen years providing EAP and outpatient counseling services, as well as serving as a clinical supervisor for numerous offices. In addition, she worked as social worker for WellSpan Dialysis and was part of WellSpan’s Organizational Learning and Development team.  She volunteers with “Girls on the Run” program as a coach and committee member

 

Ashley Beaverson, BS, SHRM-CP serves as an EAP Coordinator. She holds a bachelor’s degree from York College of Pennsylvania in Behavioral Science with a minor in applied youth development and has attained certified professional status with the Society for Human Resource Management. Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in human resources including employee relations, benefits, and training and development initiatives encompassing a variety of disciplines. She volunteers on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of York and Adams County and volunteers on committees with the York Society for Human Resource Management.

 

Mike is a partner in the Barley Snyder’s Employment Law Group. He became a lawyer to solve problems for clients and give them peace of mind. From the boardroom or plant floor to the courtroom, he provides practical solutions and relentless focus on reaching the successful outcome organizations desire.

He has handled numerous employment cases in federal court, state court, Pennsylvania Superior Court, Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC), the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, and the Bureau of Unemployment Compensation. He has successfully represented clients, including obtaining favorable jury verdicts and administrative rulings in cases involving sex, age, disability, national origin, religion, and race discrimination, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), wrongful discharge, breach of contract, non-compete agreements, workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation and defamation. Mike lectures on employment topics for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, corporations and associations.

Certification: Pending certification credit through HRCI and SHRM.
