Topic: DEI & EEOC: General Overview and Current Trends

Speaker:  Tonya Lennox, Outreach & Education Coordinator, USEEOC – Philadelphia District Office

Ms. Lennox worked for several federal agencies, including working in the Commission’s Little Rock, Arkansas, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Area Offices and Richmond, Virginia Local Office in investigations. She was a pivotal contributor in operating initiatives and achieving Partners within the community; train-the trainer Respectful Workplace (throughout NC, SC, and VA) and farmworker trainings for vulnerable communities.

Purpose To build a highly skilled and flexible team to prevent and remedy employment discrimination.

Content To provide recent case resolutions (press releases) and interactive role playing to include:

1) to promote a culture of continuous learning, information sharing and providing exceptional customer service to their employees and those they serve.

2) To eliminate discrimination in the workplace by providing knowledge that managers can offer training opportunities and exposure to other divisions and offices within their company.

3) To prevent and remedy discrimination through high quality investigations, early and voluntary case resolutions using settlement
