Topic: NLRB Update and Union Prevention Tips

Speakers:

Greg Archibald – Greg practices in the McNees Labor & Employment Group, representing employers in workers’ compensation matters and general employment litigation. He strongly values productive and collaborative working relationships with his clients, approaching their legal needs with open lines of communication and long-term strategies for success.

Greg graduated from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pa., with a concentration in business law. There, he served as the Comments Editor for the Dickinson Law Review and President of the Business Law Society. While pursuing his Juris Doctorate, he worked as a legal intern for the U.S. Attorneys’ Offices for the Middle District of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, Pa., where he assisted with sentencing appeals and federal litigation. Greg earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.

 

Schaun Henry – Schaun practices in the Labor & Employment Group. He provides representation and counseling to employers on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including employment discrimination cases under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and other federal, state and local issues. Schaun defends employers against charges of discrimination before the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, and in Federal and State courts. He also assists employers with Affirmative Action planning and defense as necessary. He also counsels and defends employers with respect to Immigration related employment issues.

Schaun provides guidance for employers on unfair labor practices and other labor relations issues, as well as providing representation for employers at labor arbitrations and negotiations. He advises employers on a wide variety of personnel issues including hiring, termination and revision of policies. Schaun provides assistance to public employers with respect to collective bargaining and other labor related issues under the Public Employee Relations Act, Act 111 and the Heart and Lung Act.

Before undertaking the practice of law, Schaun served in the Armed Forces. He is now a retired Major of U.S. Army Special Forces.

Austin Wolfe – Austin Wolfe practices in the McNees Labor & Employment Practice Group where he works with employers in a broad range of labor and employment law matters, including employment discrimination, workplace harassment, retaliation, wage and hour compliance, and workers’ compensation matters. Austin represents clients before federal and state courts as well as a variety of administrative tribunals, including the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Austin’s broad litigation and transactional experience allows him to creatively and efficiently resolve his clients’ issues.
